While browsing the internet I found where MSNBC has named the "Top 5 Sexiest Video Game Characters". Very interesting. I never realized video game characters could be 'sexy', nor did I realize how realistic some look. There's even an article titled, "Video games' hottest couples". It's almost as if its another 'real' world.

Interesting link, Ashley. I assumed Lara Croft would be there, but I didn't know about the others. I wonder how people's attraction to online characters is the same or differs from TV characters. There is obviously interaction with online characters, but what else?
This article is crazy. I never thought that people would rate the sexiness of online characters. I guess it goes along with why some guys think the little mermaid is hot. I wonder, if like FtF, if people are drawn to more attractive characters on games than less attractive characters? Or if they identify better with attractive ones than less attractive characters?
I think attractiveness and beauty is sadley the c key component to a person in our society. It goes to show, especially with people finding online characters hot?! Personally I think that is a little weird but then again they almost look real and some are real exaggerated with certain parts. I've seen women with shrunken waistes, huge boobs, and perfect legs. I think these online characters still emphasize what our society has stereotyped as pretty. I agree with Meg in that I bet online attractive characters are more drawn to one another just like F to F.
