This was sent to me and after reading it I thought about this class esp. since the last two post were about similar sites with the same concept! Here is the site ... hope it works!

Interesting!!!
I'm kind of torn about this website. I respect police officers and realize how much they sacrifice, but I've also had fairly unpleasant experiences with some as well.
My fiance and I were T-boned by a drunk driver on Christmas day. The police officers were wonderful at the time, but after incorrect police reports and lack of returned phone calls, it would have been nice to have a place to complain. Although, I'm not sure a public website is the best place to do so.
Storing personal information can place the cops in danger, and perhaps, open doors for illegal impersonation. Kinda of scary.
This is a sensitive topic. There are some bad police offices that needs to be put on this type of list due to their conduct on the job but then you could be hurting the good officers that don't deserve to be published. Instead of listing all officers maybe the site could just list the bad acts that officers in a certain area has performed without using their name and badge number. This would allow the law breakers a chance to get back at the officers even though they were in the wrong. We should allow internal affairs and the judicial system to handle the officers that wrongfully use their position not sites like this.
Wow, this was a really interesting story - thanks Steph!
I definitely agree with Leslie about this being a sensitive topic. Not only would I worry about sensitive information getting out, but it seems like having this public forum would create more flaming.
Even worse, I understand that some police officers do make very bad mistakes, but this would make it easier for people to make false allegations. Then, obviously this would make it more difficult to filter out reports that are actually accurate.
In a previous discussion, we talked about the Internet bringing our lives from the "back" to the "front," and this is an example of us going overboard.
This is just too far in my opinion.
I have family and friends (In fact, I just looked one of them up on the list) that are police officers and it's hard enough for them to do their job now as is.
